six-part series for all who are interested in a
general introduction to the bible. It will review the
structure and content of the Old & New
Testaments.
YOUNG ADULT BIBLE
STUDY -- Cedar
Valley Theology on Tap will sponsor an Advent Bible
study program for young adult Catholics in their 20s
and 30s. This four-week program will explore the
biblical accounts of the birth of Jesus. If you are

STORIES FOR
ADVENT --
"Waiting in Silence, Waiting in Hope, Waiting in
Love" is the theme for the 12th annual evening of
Stories for Advent Reflection to be held on Monday,
Dec. 3, at 7:00pm, at St. Stephen Catholic Student
Center in Cedar Falls. This evening of reflections
and stories designed to guide our participation in
the Advent season will be presented by Gail Froyen
and is open to the public.
ADVENT
RETREAT -- "The
Fullness of the Father's Love" is a retreat sponsored
by the Intercity Prayer Community to be held on
Sunday, Dec. 16, from 1:00 to 6:00pm at Sacred Heart
Parish in Waterloo. The retreat will include witness
talks, time for private reflection, prayer and
praise, and Reconciliation. For information, contact
