FINANCE COUNCIL
The Sacred Heart Finance Committee helps determine the parish budget and meets monthly to discuss various financial issues concerning the parish. Current chairperson is Randy Wallace.
Ways to Give:
Electronic Funds Transfer (EFT): This is a way to donate to the parish regularly through your checking account. By filling out an EFT form, a designated amount of money will be transferred directly from your checking account to the parish in a safe and secure manner. This provides the parish with predictability and stability, and provides you the convenience of not having to remember to write a check and your tithing envelopes. Click on the "EFT Form" found on the right and print out a form to complete and return to the parish office.
Endowed Gifts: Endowed gifts are gifts that are given where the principal sum of the gift remains intact and only the interest that is generated is used. Such gifts can be made outright through gifts of cash, securities or property, or may be made as a deferred gift through such vehicles as a life insurance policy, trust arrangement, or bequest.
Bequests: Bequests are gifts that are given through a person's will.
Trust Arrangements: A trust is much like a will except that it states who will benefit from the assets placed in their trust while you are alive in addition to how it will be distributed upon your death.
Life Insurance: These gifts are an ideal way to make a substantial, eventual gift to the church. Existing policies no longer needed to provide for your children or family members can be assigned to the church, or new policies can be written with the church listed as the partial or sole designated beneficiary.
